We went to the Humane Society to drop off some stuff, and DB asked if I wanted to look at the dogs. I said sure... not expecting to find one. We went through the kennel portion, and they were all wound up, as to be expected. Nobody caught my eye, though, so I left with tears in my eyes. As we were walking back to the front, there was a side room open with an italian Greyhound, and Sadie. I knew as soon as I saw her that she would be leaving with me.
She is a Husky/Lab mix, and there has to be some Chow in there somewhere because her tongue is black! She is sweet and mellow, and very well mannered. A bit overweight, but Mish will take care of that.
She also has a fleck of blue in her eye. All in all, she is very striking.
