Thanks wallaby! I haven't ventured yet experimenting with the shutter speed, but I should do as I often curse my camera being way too slow to capture the busy bees. What has helped me sometimes is to use the option in the P-mode to take multiple pics in a row, just by keeping pressing in the button, (don't know the English term of it) by which you command the camera to take the photo. Usually one or more of them turns out well. But that's only when the bee finds the flower interesting enough to stay a little longer..
