Southern California Butterfly and Hummingbird Books

I went to our local library today to see what they had on butterfly books and hummingbird books. They only had a few which I checked out. The newest one was published in 1994. The other two were from the '80's. I am thinking of donating a couple of books to this library. Does anyone know of any newer and more local books that I can offer the library?

I got this one at Costco, I believe, years ago - so it might not be available and it is a softcover book. If not, I would look for something by the same authors. It's not JUST pictures - it covers the anatomy, breeding, behavior, pollination, plus a section on each species. The photos, however, are outstanding.

Kathleen, I have put this book on my list to purchase so I can get the go-ahead from the local library to donate the books. I will buy a book a month to give to them.
