Bird Watching Daily Pics. Vol. 41
Jane,
LOL!
Nice pics! Love your Wren! I've seen Carolina Wrens eat from our suet cakes too.
I love your Pyrrhuloxia! He's a beautiful bird! Love your GF's!
Maybe it's just the angle of the shot (White Crowned Sparrow). Pretty sure they're a little larger than most Sparrows.
I've never seen a Black Throated Sparrow before! Gorgeous!

Lilypon...wonderful pics...does the Chickadee eat from your hand often? Awesome!
Rose
Hi Rose :)
They've always been a very friendly bunch. Our local branch, Nature Moose Jaw, has a monstrous feeder down in the valley and they often come and sit on your head when we are filling the feeder (my Dad had the key for the bird feeder's pulley system a couple of years ago and it was a huge treat to go and fill it every Sunday). Now we just go down there with treats (suet and feed with fruit) since another member is having his turn so we can continue to enjoy the gift of giving (and receiving ;).
Cheers, Pam
You are so fortunate Pam!
