CLOSED: unknown caterpillar
Looks like a Poinsettia Hornworm (Manduca species)
They can defoliate a plant very quickly.
Or, it could be an Ello Sphinx Moth cat, they feed on other plants, maybe you could move him......they become a beautiful moth:

i think it is a Poinsettia Hornworm, the Ello Sphinx Moth cat has an eye looking dot on it's head from what i googled and this guy doesn't, never knew such a hornworm existed, thanx
You could be right........the first picture looks like the head is at the bottom, what is that shape on his head?
The Ellos are highly variable and I couldn't find much info on the Poinsettia Hornworm so am wondering if they are the same.
I'm just trying to save him :>/
