I just started some eriogonum crocatum and solidago californica indoors in my garage. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Our central air and heater is out there as well as I park our car there everynight. Do you think that the fumes would be harmful to the seeds I planted? I am trying to grow these California natives by seed for the second time this year. I don't have a lot of experience starting seeds anyway. I used a seed primer from South Africa this time to try something different. I am completely out of solidago californica but I have 50 seeds of the Buckwheat left. As soon as the seeds come up, I am going to install a fluorescent light to grow the seedlings.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck
