According to your map, I would be in zone 3b, but temperatures as low as -45 are not unusual here so I entered the zone I usually quote ,which is 2b.
I am new to this forum so please bear with me until I learn the ropes. EVa
Zones
I was 6b and this zone chart with the zip code showed me as 6b. So many times, tho, we have milder winter than usual. It's hard to pin us down here in the Appalachian Mountains.
I'm living in USDA-zone 8 with a minimum winter temperature 0f -17 C or 1.4 F. I can't remember when it has been this cold overhere.
And I was just wondering since climates are changing everywhere due to global warming. etc., how accurate are our zones still?
