Bored because it is raining out (whoohoo!) I started scrolling thru old forums here at Dave's. I got caught up in a crafting thread and clicked on a link which took me to PoppySue's webpage. Still surfing, I clicked on her Garden Tour.
All I can say is OH MY!
Please, please, PoppySue post the link here so everyone can covet your entire yard with me. I would post the link myself but I'm thinking it would be bad manners without your permission first.
Please don't deny us...........
Best Garden Tour I've taken in years!
Om'gosh Gwydion! ... I opened this thread to see where you went... I didn't realize you meant my home page! Thanks for the compliment & I'm glad you liked it. The MSN set up is pretty easy to use although sometimes it take forever to load. I've been thinking I should update it to the 2001 garden tour but I haven't gotten around to that yet. Here's the link if anyone wants to take a stroll... http://communities.msn.com/PoppysuesGarden&naventryid=110

I agree. I spent a delightful hour or more touring her garden!
Wow Poppysue thats all beautiful... I know whose place we need to raid next.... you will let us know when your going to go on vacation won't ya? lol
You know what this means when we all think that PoppySue's entire yard is worth a midnight raid?...
It means we all have amazingly good taste ;)
Thankyou PoppySue for sharing it with everyone again. The link I found was in the forum Hands on Home in a thread started last February if anyone is interested.
I have also been there!!! It is beautiful. I do believe on a couple occasions I have asked for 1 of everything she has!!!! (ha-ha) I have traded with her also and let me tell you guys that even what she trades is great. All the plants are blooming and beautiful!!!! Thanks Poppysue!!!!!! sue
and it wasn't even hot!!!! I still want her to adopt me:)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! So Beautiful...Be sure to let us know when you decide to start all that "tearing out" you were talking about. I would like to have one of each of everything :-) It is a lovely, beautiful, enjoyable garden. Thank you for sharing it with us...vic
Beautiful gardens and grounds.Very inspiring. Guess I'll dig out all our stained glass scrap and see if I can make a mosaic stand for a birdbath out of it.

O ,Poppysue! This is TOO much! Such beauty! You definitely need to go on HGTV's Gardener's Journal to show the world! It was a grande tour!...Jane
I just took the stroll and I bookmarked it for easy finding later. It is beautiful. I don't know if my 5 acres will ever be that pretty. Great job poppysue. You should be proud of yourself.
Now that's a garden, supurb!!! Only for some reason I couldn't open the Herb garden. It's all so beautiful, full but neat. I have some "swamp Sunflowers" that you might like for the privacy you said you wanted since the deer ate your regular sunflowers. These have multiple heads so if they get nipped, more will come. Thanks for sharing.
I too have spent time on the tour at Poppysue's place. Her site shows a beautiful garden and lots of great ideas for copying! They whole thing is easy to follow and worth revisiting time and again. So go ahead and blush Poppy you deserve the praise!
Thank you all **Blush**. It's nice to be able to share with other gardeners. I don't have many gardening friends here. At least not any that are as fanatical as I am... I'm sure that most of them think I have a few screws loose -LOL! I appreciate your nice comments.
Hello Poppysue; As I was touring through your beautiful Garden of Eden, I wondered dose this woman have a job out of the home, then came across your comment about DH not thinking that was such a good idea, for you to be a full time gardener. Well I commend you it really is beautiful. I bet with so many flowers you don't have to many weeds.
Welcome to DG flowerpot. It's nice to see another Canadian on board.
