Backspace, your pond is beautiful and so natural looking. The phlox by the edge is nice.
How many gallons is your pond?? I like the lotus too.
Thanks crazy4brugs. The purple that you see is "thymus coccineus". I like it , so much better than a phlox. Very carefree. The pictures that you saw are from '06. I need to upgrade to recent pictures. The pond is 2500 plus gallons. Enough for me to maintain. I have 17 koi in it. I haven't bought koi in quite a few years, they just keep multiplying. I think I do have some pics. from this past summer of the Koi and will try to get them up on screen.
Do you have a pond? do you have fish?
I need to find pictures to post so you can see
Crazy4brugs, Looks like the snow we should have here at this time of year. Looks like you have a nice pond though . Would love to see pictures when all that white stuff melts. I will have to take some pictures of mine and send back at ya. thanks for sharing Sandy
Backspace....beautiful! What great landscaping you have surrounding the pond!
Posy....I love the snowy branch over the fish, what a scene for next year's Christmas cards!
:)
Thank you MerryMary, your name would look good on a Christmas card too! Every time I see your post, your name evokes memories of a dear, dear friend who passed away. How my friend Mary loved Christmas:)♥
MerryMary, thanks for the compliment. I have to tell you I work at a nursery in my community. I deal with plants all day long when it is the season here. I help people that come into the nursery with selecting plants for their yard and also a little landscaping. In otherwords I work in the Retail Division. It is alot of fun. When I get tired of something in my own yard or feel like it's just not doing to well I yank it out and try something else. I will have to send pictures when the spring and summer come and show you the rest of my gardens. Isn't gardening alot of fun. It has been my passion for 25 plus years. Very therapuetic. Thanks again
Backspace, the only nursery I've been to in St. Charles is Natural Gardens, where I purchased my Echinacea 'Razzmatazz' That is a really neat place.
Cray4brugs, Ah yes "the Natural Garden" on route 64. Funny you mention buying the echinacea razzmatazz cuz that is what I bought from them last summer, we don't carry that one where I work. I work at Midwest Groundcovers on Route 25. It's a very well know nursery for the groundcovers, shrubs conifers and perennials. Ever hear of it?
So you have been to St. Charles. Recently?
backspace, you have D-Mail.
