I found this guy sitting on one of the leaves of a flowering bush that is growing around the lamp post in my front yard (the name of the plant escapes me at the moment). The spots on its' wings are symmetrical and the lower portion of it's body is bright red, as can be seen in the picture. Perchance can anyone identify this thing?

Oleander Moth ..... Syntomeida epilais
That's it! I "googled" your response and found pictures of the moth & of the orange and black larva of the oleander caterpillar that I recall seeing earlier in the year. Thank you!
I just posted pictures of the same bug... It's a MOTH? Looks like a wasp of sorts.
