I have a question about this shrub, can you trim and shape it? Does it have to grow to be 10ft?
Thanks-
Pieris japonica Variegata
You can selectively prune it to shape so that it doesn't get to high. It takes a while to get that high.
we have kept pierises only 3 feet high for over 40 years now.
they are intermingled with mounding azaleas so they "blend".
You can make them look "au natural" or "coiffed like a blue
haired matron".
I love them. (the Pieris)
Have you seen Kalmia yet?
sheri
