Dean, Dean, DEAN... correct me if I'm wrong... aren't you the Newbie who wanted to START with a garbage can for a compost bin less than a month ago??? hehehe..... My how you have grown up!!!

Central Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

No, I didn't want a garbage can. LOL!!! I've had compost piles in the past, but recently I came to a relization. I turned my compost pile one day and it was steaming hot. I mean almost on fire! It got me hooked again! I thought maybe it was beyond my scope of gardening.

Well I'd say you have a full blown ADDICTION going here!!! That's my professional opinion! I love reading your posts, you are over the top for composting!!! hehehe

Dean has become like a 2nd son to me....

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7b)

He'll have to be my 3rd one.........Since I don't know his age, he's going to have to take his chances in the pecking and butting order with the other two. #1 son has recently started a bin as well. He also has access to pallets and about 2 acres, so he put it in the back. My DIL, who I adore, is a bit girly, girly, but she's game to try. LOL Once DH begins to feel better, we're going to take the Troy down to turn his old garden under for him. He's got a couple of young walnut trees that need a new home and I want to bring at least one back with me. The hole is already dug and waiting. LOL
