Help? Has anyone harvested Stella dior lily seeds.

I have Stella dior lilys that are seeding, when do I harvest them?

The pods will turn brown and start to split. The seeds inside are round and black. Don't pick them too soon or they won't be ready.

the seed pods get fairly large then they shrivel up and fall off, I have opened a few of them and there are no little black seeds inside.

trailingon, Some of my pods have seeds and some don't. I have no idea why this happens. Just keep looking, you'll get some.

I had some too that I had been watching they where truning brown I went to check on them today and they had spilt open and the seeds already fell out. Guess I should have bagged them or maybe picked them a little sooner.
