Thinking about getting seeds to try growing asparagus fern the 'foxtail' variety.
Anyone grown these in greenhouse? Do they take a long time to grow?

not sure if they come true from seeds,i have the plant in the gh and it seems to like it in there
Hi there.....I am afraid I have not tried growing foxtail asp. fern but I have grown plenty of the common type from seed and it is easy to grow here in Hawaii. Just gather the seed and break up the fruit a little bit by rubbing a handful in my hand and then pat into a seed tray of potting mix. Ready to transpant into individual 4" pots in a few months.
