Is anyone growing any of the restios and can you tell me if the rabbits will eat them? I don't want to put them in the ground if so, but keep them potted and out of reach. Thanks for any info..

Restios and Rabbits
I have a restio and nobody's eaten it yet. But my problems are with the underground sort of chomping pests, not the above ground ones! I don't know why I don't have rabbits around here but I don't (don't remember ever seeing them at my old place in Martinez either)
I never did see one rabbit when we lived in Martinez and Pleasant Hill. There were gopher mounds, but never one plant eaten by them. In hindsight, it was heaven!
I lost a few plants occasionally to gophers when I was in Martinez, but never enough for it to really bother me. Then I moved here 25 miles farther south, and the nasty things are everywhere digging up my garden and eating every plant in sight! I still have yet to see a rabbit since I moved to CA though. And I don't have deer problems either, just the gophers so I suppose I should count my blessings!
