Yeah! Nice going folks!! Al, did you place the most in this contest? You had a lot of great ones. Everyone did! Congratulations Al, Boojum, Victor, Pixie, Andy... everyone! Pirl, some of your photos were spectacular. I'm surprised they didn't place, but then again, a lot of fantastic photos didn't place. There was too many good ones to choose!

I still remember you saying you didn't recognize any of mine, Harper. I'll remember that!!

Seriously, thank you and you're right - way too many good ones and who knows what appeals to people at a given time.

There was a great photo of a golden retriever with a loooong stick in it's mouth that had a caption something like "bark softly and carry a big stick" - I thought that would win for sure! The Scotty picture which took first, was my second choice.

I feel bad as I don't remember seeing a lot of the photos when I voted, I kept thinking - did they add that later?

I would add two categories - foliage and best captions.

Reminds me of when DH and I were on our honeymoon in Mexico - and walked by an open air restaurant and decided to stop for lunch. The guy said - come on out back and pick your fish, we just brought in a catch. So I told DH to go, I didn't want to pick a fish. They brought out our meals with the head and eye intact. DH didn't think I would eat it, I picked up the ketchup bottle and completely covered the head so it didn't watch me eat.
Actually it did look better than your fish, Al.

Uh oh. I'm on Victor's bad guy list. I was only familiar with two of your pics, Victor, but voted for some of yours, even though I didn't know they were yours. Same with Al. I recognized some of Pirl's pics, so that was easy.

Congratulations! I admit to not recognizing anybody's photos! I got to know when a photo was by the same photographer, but not who that photographer was.

I voted in about 6 categories - my spinning head just couldn't handle any more, lol! But I see quite a few photos in the winners spots that I voted for. As a matter of fact, in the annuals category, my top 3 choices made it in!

Congrats to all the winners - and all the entrants for that matter. Lots of gorgeous photographs in the entire contest. And lots of hard choices, lol!

It was hard, painstaking work pouring over all categories, but I really wanted to get my votes in! A lot of what I voted for made it, but some I thought were for sure wins didn't make it!
