I've signed up, too. I have noticed there wasn't as many bees this years as last. I'm very worried.

The Burts Bees website now says they have run out of seeds, having received an overwhelming response to their offer.

:(

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

I wish I had marked it down when I did it so I would know!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

I remembered I had sent it via email to friends and family and I did mine on November 16th.

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

I sent mine on November 11, I'll bet they are filling by request date. c4

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

well, I guess I will prob be on the waiting list, if they have one! LOL

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

The envelope contains maybe a 1/2 teaspoon (total) of a mix of calendula, shasta daisy, lance leaved coreospis, plains coreospis, purple coneflower and sweet william catchfly.

I'll bet there are enough seeds in DGers stashes to make up our own mixes.

North Hills, CA

Walgreens up the street has a display that says something about Burts Bees.
I didn't check it out.Too many screaming children and their mother yelling at them right in front of the display.
I think it was some kind of chapstick type stuff they were selling.
If I can make a quick excape next time I go there I'll see what it says.
I hate people who take a ton of kids shopping and then aren't able to control the little brats. You'de think they would know that the brats will run around wild then have a tantrum when each one doesn't get whatever it is they want their mother to buy them.It only happened a million other times before.
Maybe they need some of Burts bees to pay them a visit....a couple thousand bees will give them something to scream about.

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

Smoke, Burts Bees has a whole line of products, you can buy them lots of places besides their website (free shipping right now).

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

My Burts Bees free seed offer came today. Three nice packages of mixes that Cathy4 mentioned above. Ilike the fact that this mix contains no grass fillers.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

You are the second person that posted that they received theirs today, so maybe they are back on track and sending out the rest. I haven't received mine yet!

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

I wasn't expecting three packages. I hope I didn't get someone elses. Or maybe they are making up for the long delay.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

The other person said they got two, so who knows! LOL

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Well maybe I'll hold on to one for a pass-along package just in case someone gets left out.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

When did you sign up? I signed up on November 17th, and I think the other person said they did after that, but got theirs today...

Bonifay, FL

I got 2 packs in the mail today. I signed up on November 18.

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

It had to be around the 26th of Nov. because I had tried to signup on the 17th (I was on mamajacks' thread) but the website was having problems.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Maybe mine will be here on Monday then. :)

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

Two packs, Bonheur? Ut-oh, Mistygardener, I'm putting one of my three packs in the mail to you Monday! LOL

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Yes, I think I had to try it twice to get it to work if I remember correctly. They may have had so much attention it was bombing the sight! LOL

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

LOL You do that then I will get 3 packs, too and have to pass yours and another one on to someone else! HE HE HE We might start a chain reaction here! LOL

Cordele, GA(Zone 8a)

That's called "Honey Spread". LOL

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

LOL Cordeledawg!

Bonifay, FL

I know I had tried twice, too. I didn't really expect any because it didn't seem to work - I put my info in, but when I hit enter it didn't acknowledge it or say it was accepted. Everything I had typed just disappeared. So I tried it a second time & the same thing happened, so I just gave up. I guess it had really accepted it both times! Isn't Monday a holiday (Martin Luther King Day)? I wouldn't be surprised if everyone starts getting them next week. Or maybe they're sending them by planting zones (except Cathy4). Cordeledawg, you and I are both in the deep south, so maybe they had so many requests, they decided to start sending them to the people who would first be able to plant them. The directions do say to plant after danger of frost.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Bonheur, you could have hit it right on the nose, other than cathy4. :)

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

I signed up sometime in Nov. I got mine today so all will probably get them. Good luck. BEV
