Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

This thread is about over with..so you won't get much response here.
Here is a link to the plant trading forum.. you can post there and probably get a lot more "action" LOL

Also, you can request cuttings by starting a thread in the Brug forum.. Just scroll to the bottom of the Brugmansia Forum and Start a new topic requesting cuttings.

Hope this helps!

I got my brug cuttings today. Thank you so much! They arrived in very good shape and will of course be babied as they deserve. :^)

tetley...Aren't they wonderful cuttings?! Mine are doing great (I keep hovering over them). Mine have started to root already and have new leaves popping out all over:-)))
Many thanks, ZZ for sharing!!! I already have visions of a patio filled with loveliness in the summer...Ahhhhhh!

LOL @ the hovering. I too am a hoverer and have been doing the exact same thing. I have a bad case of NMS (New Mama Syndrome) and I can't seem to stop peaking into the nursery at the new babies.

Thanks again ZZ for the opportunity to nurture these beautiful plants. I will do my best to make you proud!

Yes,as one of the recipients, it was such a nice thing! I'm doing my best to make her proud! Getting kinda worried because I don't think I have roots yet but just read someone else does!? Keep your fingers crossed for me....

Diane,
Some of the cuttings were sitting in the GH for a month before I posted.. and I offered 7 sets of cuttings and sent out 16 sets. LOL It's soooo fun to send out cuttings!
Anyway.. Some of you got fresh cuttings that haven't rooted yet.. no worries.. they will root just fine.... They are not all the same as far as roots..

I'm sure all of you will be good brug mommies.. it's cute to hear you "hovering".. and such.. Just wait till you get your first bloom! You will walk a beaten path in your yard.. and catch yourself staring staring and staring.. LOL

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the encouragement! I potted them up dipping them each in rooting powder first- hope that was the right thing to do?! One of the cuttings looks pretty dry- we'll see....

Columbia, MO(Zone 5b)

I did some research on my new babies and found out they are fragrant as well as beautiful. I am so looking forward to growing these. :^)

Whiskers is my all time favorite for scent.... You can smell her from across the street at my place! My neighbor goes out on her front porch in the early morning.. and thanks me many times for growing them! Yellow is not my favorite color.. but she smells absolutely divine!
