I am probably spelling it wrong, but I hope you know what I mean.
I would like to get a few seeds off my son's camilla bush. What do they look like. I see a long black something and wonder if that is the seed?
Where are seeds on camilla
This page has a picture of a camellia seedpod:

I watched one of our local gardening experts plant camellia seeds on his show last week. The seeds looked big to me, not what I expected. I have never seen seeds on any of mine, but maybe I'm not looking hard enough. He also said that they grow very slowly and can have any color flower.
Depends what you have. Old school camellias have big seeds that you can't miss. Hybrids don't have seeds. If you were going to have seeds you would see them no problem. You should have some right now or at least i still have a few that haven't fallen off yet.
I'll have to go out and look at mine. He called the ones on his show "Pensacola Camellia".
