The Habitat for Humanity ReStore (their thrift store of architectural and garden items, proceeds benefit Habitat homes) in Garden Grove on Harbor in Orange County has a bunch of HUGE concrete planters on palettes. They are used but in great condition (they must have been indoors because some still have silk arrangements in them). These are those crazy expensive ones and look like they came from a hotel or mall they are so big.
I wish that I had my camera but I didn't :( but there are about 4 nice square shaped ones about 3 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet and almost 3 feet tall for $100 each and over 10 3 foot round ornate (with faces and swags) planters for $120 (I think).
Garden stuff is very difficult to find there and I like supporting Habitat so hopefully one of ya'll needs something like these!

Orange County: Habitat for Humanity garden planters
Reminds me we haven't been to the ReStore down here for a long time.
I love them! We have 3 really close to us and have gotten a lot of goodies such as new Levelor cellular blinds for $5 each and when I priced them at Home Depot they would have been over $150 each.
The funny thing is how each store has a really unique personality and items in stock. The one in LA is more older home stuff (perfect for me because I have a Victorian) while the OC locations have more items that are overstock donated by builders.
Gosh, an abundance of riches! Each time we've gone, we saw things we thought would be really useful, but not for us at that time. Still like the idea of it, though, so we will go back. We also have visited a "deconstruction" store in SD that has interesting stuff, but pricey.
The ReStore in Corona changed names which seems a bit strange but they still have some great stuff too. (it is still non-profit)
