Gratitude!

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

I am thankful for another wonderful season of growing MGs! This was my first year going all out growing nils and species, though I did grow a few the previous summer. It struck me how far I have come in the past two summers...and it's thanks to ALL OF YOU!

I am in awe of how far and fast I have come along in being able to grow these, and there is no way I would have learned what I did without the members of this list giving freely of themselves without even knowing if I was worth the effort. I had no idea of the number of possible types of MGs and blooms until I came upon this site and ebay. Match that with my childhood interest that started when I grew up playing under the morning glory vine tunnels and you had love at first sight!

So I am sending all of you a thank you and a big (((cyberhug)))

Oh Beth, me too, this is the first year I learn anything about the MG genetics. I tried to figure out things on my own a couple of years ago and then got sidetracked. We are really very lucky to have this forum and also the people that are willing to give us a chance at growing those precious seeds. So, let's see what next year brings.. in your case, lets see what you get this winter Inside? There are no limits to imagination (crosspollinating).

The U.S. will be among/if not already one of the top cross breeders, just look at the Ebay in Japan selling american crossed seeds already, and they're hot there. Pretty soon they will be called Morning Glory America ....!!! at least that is what I imagine..and hope to be there to see the day.

I, too, have only been growing MGs since this summer! THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone for sharing seeds with me and for educating me! I have so enjoyed this newfound love of gardening and am a TRUE addict to MGs now because of all of YOU!!! :-)

Everyone on this forum deserves a great big hug...I wouldn't have the appreciation of morning glories if it wasn't for everyone here. This is the first place I come to in the morning and the last place before bed!! The generosity of all of you guys and gals goes far beyond just giving away seeds. I would love one day to meet you all in person.

I don't get a chance to travel so maybe we can all meet at my house one summer!!! LOL!!! I would love it!!

"Morning Glory America" Sounds Awesome!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

I, too, would like to echo tremendous thanks to folks on this forum. These past two summers have been a morning glory version of walking through the looking glass into Narnia thanks to the generosity of so many who have shared/traded their seed and knowledge with me. Wandering through the gardens with DH and a cup of coffee among bowers of incredible morning glories was nectar for the soul thanks to the magicians around here.
