Good morning everyone,
I know this is probably a novice question, but I have never propogated anything.
I want to do it now before the weather turns, since we are still in the 70's and everything is still actively growing.
I have several plants at my office that I would like to take cuttings from, but all of my supplies are at home. I am planning on putting them in a perlite/vermiculite mix with a plastic cover. Is it safe to take the cuttings now and keep them in water until I can get home and get them dipped in the rooting hormone and in the mix?
Cut now - Plant later?
Yes - just keep the cut part moist at all times.
Thanks Kay! I appreciate your help.
