I have some wasp type things swarming around two Hanging Basket Hoya plants on my front porch. At first I thought they were looking to nest in my plants but it seems they are just attracted to the flowers. I don't know if these are beneficial insects or something I should try to eradicate. Any help would really be appreciated.
This photo is a bit fuzzy because I was afraid of getting stung. You can see one wasp on a leaf and there is one slightly visible on a flower. They look to be black & yellow striped on the rear and the top of the head is green.
Any "Bug" experts out there with an ID of these?
Thanks!

Probably that genus of metallic green bees. I don't see any reason to eradicate any bees or wasps, unless they're nesting where an allergic child could get stung. That's just me.
Thanks Claypa! That's exactly what is flying around my plants! I won't kill them. Nope, no kids, allergic or otherwise around here!
Thanks again for that quick ID!
