Awesome photos everyone!!! Sure wish we got Zebra Swallowtails down here...sigh...but alas...I'll just have to settle for the 320 or so species we do get :o)
Also went outside when I got home from work and found a female Black Witch moth on the fruit tray this time!!!
Gotta love it!!!

DAILY BUTTERFLIES Page 23
That shot of the BW moth shows the beautiful pattern. The others you posted were great, but this one really is doing it justice!
Cat and Becky, incredible photos!!!!!!! I can never get a good photo of the sulphurs either, Kim, they move so fast, and to get a pic of TWO of them, posed so perfectly, wow!!!!!!!! And that moth is SO beautiful!!!! I'd love to have a Black Witch in my butterfly album; even if she wasn't so gorgeous, she has a great name!!!!!!
I haven't been seeing much in the way of butterflies. The cool front rolled in and then a lot of wind. I do have one Tersa Sphinx outside, (didn't get a pic). Another one I got a pic, but don't know it's name... I will look it up later if I can.
It was on weatherstripping from a window, magnes took it inside so I could see it, lol.
Nice brew log Deb!!! Do you have holes drilled diagonally or slats cut into the sides so the brew puddles...or do you just let it drip down the length of the log? I often overdo the brew and it spills over onto the ground...then I also get butterflies puddling on the ground :o)

haha Yep Cat,
I do have one deep groove toward the top, see it? The bark has a lot of nooks and crannies, it could still use some more holes. I'll do that!
I unhook it and set it over a bigger bowl and drizzle it all over the log. Then I keep reapplying what drips into the bowl until it is soaked. I try to let it drip off or dab it with a paper towel until it stops dripping before I hang it back up. It's right above one of the Cupheas.
