This cute spider, which we have named "Smiley Face", has a web on the outside of our screened porch. Does anyone know what kind of spider it is?

Thank you, Old Ned. I looked online for additional information and pictures of Gasteracantha Cancriformis; and from what I read and saw, this isdefinitely that type of spider. Thanks for identifying it for me.
