I think the forum may be settling down. Some folks may need to take a breather and will come back later. I understand.

X - I loved your Photography 101! Great threads! :-) The tutoring here has been wonderful! Thank you! :-)

Me too X. I need your help/tutoring.

I need to keep practicing, I have not tried my last lesson yet. Been doing this.. drawing lizards on cardboard, then transfering the pattern onto flagstone.. just got to make a couple more for the other side (more like four more) the grout goes in tomorrow I think.

I'm sick at heart about it, too. X, I'm very sorry to see you go. I did not realize things were final. I hope you reconsider down the road.

X, I want to thank you too. Maybe we don't say it often enough.
This year I bought a used Canon Eos D60, with a number of lenses.
It took a lot of practice, and boy can that be time consuming. Taking pictures, loading them into the computer, and the monitor has less resolution, and so does the printer.

Do you remember that picture you posted showing the details of the bristles and hairs, right after you got a new camera? I knew then that I had to be able to do that. I sorted throught the lenses and picked the one best suited for macro, and away I went.

When I finally did it it was like you were standing there on the porch with me. It finally happened. Frank
