The picture doesnt do it justice. It's got fur so soft u want to pet it. Its not the wooly bear black fuzzy kind. If u look under the furr it looks just like a japanese beetle grub except its yellow instead of white. Never seen one before. Any thoughts?

The shape of it looks like a Flannel Moth cat, but they have stinging hairs and you didn't mention you were stung. Here's some info on it:
