CLOSED: Spider ID 1

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Its web is tough. The insect is hairy. Look at the flies sitting on the victim which is a bug. It has smothered the bug with web. In another shot, there are plenty of flies sitting on the spider's leg as well! Which is this?

This spider is an orb weaver (family Araneidae), possibly in the genus Neoscona. The flies may be kleptoparasites hoping to ‘share’ the spiders’ meal. - see http://psyche.entclub.org/87/87-337.html
