Ruellia-mexican petunia or wild petunia

thanks A_z tree ,but what we call Ruellia or mexican petunia grows wild here pink and purple but it has a diffrence leave and its full althe way around..this one has a lip on one flower leaf.

There are a number of different Ruellias, I'm not sure if this is one or not but it could be a different kind than the one you have growing wild.

It's definitely a Philippine Violet. They are very easy to propagate from stem cuttings...has anyone ever had success germinating the seeds?

Conant..the man that brought this cutting in my shop said he had lots of seeds ..he brought me two sm. plants so we will see if I can get it to grow and produce seeds for me.. thanks every one for all your help ..it is a Philippine

I hadn't seen the bloom. Think I will go outside and water mine right now! I like it.

They grow super easy by cuttings! No need to bother growing from seeds.

Those are beautiful Does anyone have any seed to trade. I don't have a lot of variety but maybe I have something someone needs
