Planting White Pine seeds

We collected some cones with the seeds on it. We are going to try planting some of them, does anyone know how to go about this? Do they have to be frozen before planting them or can we take them right from the tree to plant them. If anyone knows of any good websites on how to plant white pines from seeds, please respond.
