Start collecting those seeds!!!!

Wow! Sounds like some of you had a great time at the RU and got to meet our fearless leader, Dave! So cool! Anyone take any photos?

Hi Paige! Good to see ya posting! :-)

Deb - That's cool that you got seeds as well as plants at the RU! Anything unusual?

Welcome bloomheaven - Does your DG name describe your gardens? :-)

Deborah - Good question about the QAL!! It never occurred to me that there was a particular cultivar that was the best!

Deb - Thanks for the answer to her question ... Daucus carota!!!

T - Stickers on my seed baggies works okay. But sometimes the stickers come off. I started just making small labels and actually sticking them inside the zipbag with the seeds. I guess if you use Glasine envies the stickers would probably work better. I have a Dymo labeler and never thought to use it for seed labels! Good idea! :-)

I wanted to let everyone know that the Group Seed Swap has officially started on this thread (in case you haven't seen it yet):

So start bagging and tagging your bounty!!!!

Thank you all for the welcome, I'm going to take a look at the map and start looking through old threads for more information!

Tabasco...Abandon ship?! Never! If I get behind on threads I get overwhelmed and it takes me a while to get back into it. lol I thought you said a few posts up that you were looking for the Mist Flower seeds. I won't force them on you, but I'll give it a try. ;)

k., Good to hear from you! And guess what!? I cleaned up our butterfly garden yesterday and found my one little West Texas Mistflower (that I think you sent me a year ago) growing under some zinnias. I thought it had disappeared since it's not particularly perennial in our region! So, no need for the seeds, but thanks so much for the offer!

Am working on organizing my seeds and will get them sent out in a day or so! Collected some more from a native garden planted by a nature consortium yesterday...

Yay! It's such a great nectar plant. That's interesting that it stayed under your zinnias. It spreads so rampantly here that I start to get annoyed with it, until I see all the butterflies on it. I don't think I'll ever run out if you ever need more!
