found this guy yesterday in the garden crawling around the creeping phlox (and weeds) anyone know who he is?

There aren't too many caterpillars that size that look like that

thanks claypa thats what it looks like to me-it was moving fast and near some mallow
glad I didn't let the kids squish him - maybe I'll see him in the spring
