I can't get a clear pic, but found this stupid thing in my bathtub about 3/4" With many legs, shiney brown with what look like barbs @ one end. Scary! Did it come from my well water, off my foot... off ME???.... I had just washed and bleached the tub! Yikes! Help!
Do you have a septic? I don't know what that is, but I have had creepy crawlies come up the pipes from the septic....
It looks like a type of centipede, they are a beneficial bug and eat bad bugs.

Yes I do have a septic, but the creepy part is I didn't see it until AFTER I got IN the bath!!! EEEEwwww! I had Just cleaned the tub, so it didn't come up the pipe.

Is this the same thing? I've found 3 of these, months apart, about
1 1/2" long trying to climb from the kitchen sink. Then a tiny one in the bathtub. Gorgeous little guys, never had seen one before....Had the Clark guy around for ants, and he said HE'D never seen one before. Adrian

Batbucket, that same house centipede has showd up in my kitchen sink few times...the oddest part is when i have sink full of dishes..it doesn't come up...but in a clean empty sink it shows up...and this morning i found it in my bathtub!!!
there are these other bugs that i find in my bathtub....maybe u guys can help me...they're brown, slim and slender and super fast..look like they have a smooth body....when i squish it w toilet paper all this purple juice comes out of it...
Not only do i find them in my bathtub but also on my floors randomly..its hard wood....and sometimes in my window panels....i think i got bit by one yesterday...looks similar to a spider bite...wanna knw wut that is...

I get house centipedes from time to time. Used to scare the bejeezus outta me until I found out more about them. They don't bite humans. Just look creepy.
Those long things on their tail end? I'm told that they use them to actually lasso bugs so they can eat them. Pretty cool little cowboy bugs. I'd like to see that.
