He's going for the windows key! I think it's a seed bug.

It doesn't have leafed tibias, but it has big femur leg parts, not looking like a leaf-footed bug really

Except for the legs, and it being so tiny, it looks like the Western Conifer Seed Bug, which exists in the east now. Maybe it's just a young one. I think it crawled out of some Joe Pye seeds that were laying on the table.

It sure does look like the one you have picked, I dont know anything about bugs, but I dont think you want him in the computor. LOL
The bug map says MD sightings in NOV. Maybe hes ahead of the rest.

Another option might be a type of scentless plant bug, maybe genus harmostes??

Wow, their pictures of that bug are on the same plant that I had seeds of, Joe Pye weed / Eupatorium... and its tiny like my bug, too. I think you found it ! Thanks a lot Linda NC!
