Take a walk with me and I'll show the colors of Maine!

I didn't want to monopolize the Fall thread so I thought I'd start this one as I have tons of pictures of the foliage peak.

This first one is the reflection off the lake when I got down to it yesterday. It nearly blinded me!

This is on the beach....to the left of me.

On the beach to the right.

A little bit of reflection in the water.

Across the lake in one spot it is mostly evergreens...very little color in this one spot.

This is one of the trees on the beach towering over me.

White Birch leads to the entrance of the beach.

The Island sitting in the middle of the lake looks like it's on fire.

The North end of the lake has a small little church that I like. It looks like you can only enter it from the lake in this photo.

This guy just watched me like I was crazy!
"Hey lady.....can I eat the camera?"

Behind the church on a hill is a graveyard surrounded by these tree's.

You can't even see the head stones from here, but they are behind these trees.

The only spot you can see it from the road, Flag always waves high on thie hill.

Some of the farm land that surrounds the Lake.

This one one of the big farms in our area, lots of color on the farm!

The color is every where....I am going to Moe's Mountain later today so i'll be back with more later. Have a great day everyone!

Just spectacular pixie! I love the seagull audience too. I wish the fall colors could last all winter, the colors would be nice next to the snow. Well I guess we need to enjoy while we can and you have certainly added to the view, thanks so much. Looking forward to more. :)

Glad you are enjoying what I am blessed to wake up to every day. DH & I took a ride today, we went to Moe's Mt. and several places all within 15 minutes from my house.
Here are some of the results......

These were taken from the top of Moe's Mt. On a clear day you can see all the way to Mt. Washington in N.H.
Today wasn't clear enough for that, but you can still see the mountains in the background.

You can see for miles and miles up here.....it's beautiful.

Looking down the mountain at the tree line this one evergreen stood out amongst all this color.

A farmer had stacked his hay bales in this field with this beautiful view behind it. I had to stop and snap a few shots.

The tree line to the right of the hay bales was spectacular!!

I liked the color on this hill and noticed the house but couldn't see what kind of house it was.

So I tried my zoom out to see if I could see it better......my kind of house with a million dollar view.

Saw this nice little pond and of course I had to snap a shot and then go closer.
