Dave, did I ever mention that I went to Pomona College in CA, and 47 was Pomona's numbr? I don't know why - mabe exit 47 of the freeway? 47 trees in the garden? 47 stones in the steps? I don't know why, but it WAS Pomona's own number, so when I saw you, I knew we were destined for nothing. (I did not graduate from Pomona.)
The main entrance gate had a chiseled-in-concrete saying "LET ONLY THE EAGER, THOUGHTFUL AND REVERENT ENTER HERE" and the final "E" was regularly covered with mud (more concrete? Maybe it was granite). Thought you might appreciate that tiny factoid.
