I am wondering if these are Sunrise Serenade blooms?

And can someone tell me what species of MG these seeds came from?

Becky - The first photo might be from a SS plant as they can throw blooms with no splitting...but you have also mentioned about some of your vines being grown together and very intertwined...

The seeds look to be mostly Ipomoea nil with the one on the lower left looking more like an Ipomoea purpurea...but I can't be absolutely sure...it's a tentative ID...

Hi Becky, I´m very new on MG, but I think your first picture looks like my

Sylvia - Yes,if the plant carried only for solid blooms I would say the same, but Becky is thinking that it may be on the same vine as the split blooms...sometimes the split bloom type can produce solid blooms...

I thought she maybe had a own plant of the single flower into the other plant with split blooms ~

The feathered blooms are purpurea, so both type of blooms may be on the same vine. Try to trace it from the roots and let us know if it is two vines or one.

Thanks everyone! The blooms are on the same vine. I was thinking Sunrise Serenade, but the color is different. Which is why I was asking for a possible ID.

Sylvia - Mine does look a lot like your blooms! I've never seen Crimson Rambler in real life. The color is so vibrant! I definitely like this vine. I have seen a few seed pods finally forming, so I hope to collect some to grow it out again next year. (I think my hand pollinating is working! Yay!)

Nice Becky, I had one similar to yours that didn't show any feathering, presumed it was crimson rambler. I too was a very vibrant pink, not like the other crimson ramblers I've seen. I grew SS last year but not even close to where this one showed up...OH the power of MGs!! LOL
