Okie dokie
My friend from CT!
i want more tulips, but
I bought colorblends daffs & crown imperials... this year I picked up a few tulips from them.... very good customer service 3 of my crown imperials didn't bloom (they actually sent a mailer that said sorry they had problems and they might not bloom) and they re shipped the order this year with no hassle at all
Allison:
Gorgeous! Now I am very interested in Colorblend.
Thanks for posting those photos.
well all 5 of my crown imperials are in.... about 85 of the 100 tulips are in and planted in bulb cages..... and about 90 of the 100 hyacinths are in

You must have been awfully busy, Allison! Those are spectacular bulb choices, too. Will you be finishing up the project today, or taking a well-deserved rest?
we are actually going to a 80's theme surprise birthday party for a friend of mine .... we have been friends since kindergarten..... dug out some old clothes... my police - ghost in the machine concert tee from 82 or my monsters of rock concert tee from 88... ... I am going to attempt to make my hair big... going to be a challenge since I have the natural look for years.... wish me luck .... but I think the monsters of rock tee is more appropriate for the big hair
Ohhh Allison. That sounds like such fun!
I hope someone takes pictures, and that you will post them.
I will post them depending on the hair outcome... LOL
Looking forward to seeing that!
Well I messed around with the curling iron and hair spray for 2 hours.... didn't get as much height as i wanted
left to right me (sporting my Monsters of rock tee shirt), Jodi the birthday girl (she wasn't ready for hair it was a surprise party) Ingrid, Jean & Debbie... all of us went to kindergarten together....
very cool party they had some of the kids with bandannas tied around their legs and jeans rolled up.... very cute party

What a fun party!
sorry to go back to tulips, but what kind of bulb cages did you use? are they purchased or made?
I have both bought & made.... when I realized the bought ones can easily be made... took a 1 inch wide chicken wire looking mesh... and some snips.... was easy enough to do
Allison:
How cool! Great photo of the group. I'm glad everything went so well and that you all had a good time.
