But I noticed the other day that my swamp milk weed was covered with tiny pin head sized yellow bugs. At first I thought it was pollen of some kind. What are they? Some kind of Aphids? What shold I do about them? Curious? Thanks for your reply. Ronna

Most likely the are aphids. The ones that feed on milkweeds are usually bright yellow instead of the more common green. And sometimes, if you watch closely, they kind of dance! It's fairly late in the season to bother with treating them plus you have to be careful about what you apply because you don't want to harm any butterflies that visit them. If you feel you must do something, try an insecticidal soap.
Hey Guys; If you are only doing a few plants-- I take 'Duct Tape' sticky side out and wrap it around my hand.Duct tape has so many uses. The only thing it's not good for are heating and cooling ducts.Go Figure!
thanks for the tips guys appreciate it. but i think i will let them be... Ronna
