That looks to be them wallaby1
TaaM8 .
I found a novel way of disposing of them .
If ther are in a bad place , You can make a mess wiping them off .
So I get a match and set fire to them .
99.99% of them disappear and leave no mess to clean up .
They seem to be filled with some kind of propane .
Woooooosh and they are gone .

Woops, lacewings are beneficial bugs, they eat greenfly. I hope you might consider leaving them next time, I love to see them!

PS. I hope you didn't start a bushfire!

When they choose to lay their eggs on one of My $5,000 Oil Paintings .
Or $300 gilded Gold Picture Frames .
We have a saying here in OZZ .
NOT HAPPY JAN .
Have you ever seen that add ?

I love them too . But out in the garden .

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I'm afraid I have been away from Ozz too long to have seen the add!

I hope you didn't set fire to your oil paintings......

As I said ,
The fire is so instantaneous almost like an explosion .
And it leaves no trace at all of my Studio invader .
My Studio is set amongst 10 acres of well planted Bush .

Curious - since a lacewing will not lay eggs where there is no food supply for her babies, and that food supply is aphids.

You have a VERY valid point there ceejaytown ,
I will look into this and report back with Pics .
You know I never thought of that .
But then I never even knew what it was . :o)
Pics B4 the next fire .

Well here is a Big hole in your theory .
This Fly screen is at least 30 feet away from any garden .

I like the way it's placed them equally ballanced on both sides!

It seems anything which resembles a plant blade of a certain shape will confuse the Lacewing. Or could it be the colour, the framework on your flyscreen is similar to gilding!

Interesting!

I think his lacewings haven't read the book.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Might not be turning the book upside down ? :o)
