CLOSED: Coolest grashopper I ever saw.

I've lived here in Arizona for 20 years and never came across a grasshopper like this. It flew in on crimson wings and landed on one of my Sanseviarias. Fortunately it hung out long enough for me to go in and get the camera. Probably about 2 and a half inches long.

Holy cow Claypa! :-) that was fast, and you nailed it!

Native from Arizona through Texas. Strange I've never come across one before. No pics in Bug Files? Not for much longer. I caught it! This bug is mine! More pics to come.
