CLOSED: Can anyone help identify these insects from Dallas area?

McKinney, TX

I was actually trying to identify this wild vine that grows in a woodland shade area near Dallas when I happened upon these interesting insects. I would imagine that they are newly hatched but I have no idea what they are. Can anyone identify them? And what about is very aggressive climbing vine? Any ideas? Thanks!

Either leaf-footed bugs or assassin bugs. They're so young it's hard to say...I don't know that assassin bugs would be together like that, even as young nymphs...

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

Leaf-footed bugs.

Assassin bugs would have eaten each other by now. The Assassin bugs tend to be solitary even at this age...the Leaf-footed bugs will remain as a group even till maturity.

Thank you! I agree that they are leaf-footed bugs. Thanks for your help. Beth
