Keep taking photos of these...I can't really see in the "splotchiness" of the ten-ten red color was passed on. I really like the first one!

Paul, The sepals in the very first picture look like a purpurea. The second one I can`t tell a whole lot. I suspect the speckles might not show in a first cross if itis recessive and you`d probably have to do a growout of self seeds or back crosses to bring the speckles back out again. Time will tell. I`d love to see more of your results.

Maybe,Ron could confirm that first picture for you. Either way purpurea or ten ten cross it looks like it has potential. Tag it and check the next blooms. Karen

Hi Paul, I can see at least two different plants involved in your first photo. Sepals purpurea as the others have pointed out earlier, but there is also two different types of leaves...the nil leaves and in the right bottom corner this looks like purpurea leaves to me. Sometimes it's hard to get plants untangled...On which MGs did you put the pollen from ten-ten?

Hi Paul, I noticed with my minis they flower and then all the energy goes into producing that one seed pod. I didn't have the heart to remove it in order to see more flowers, but that would definitely have to be the way...otherwise there won't be much fun growing these...

Are the kenkens "behaving" the same way?

Martin
