Can the seeds be saved from this plant? I have been cleaning the seed heads for what I think are the seeds - small, flat, and light brown. Can these really be the seeds for such a large plant?
Small Wood Sunflower, Small-headed Sunflower 'Lemon Queen'
Forget it.Tried the seeds last year,nothing.Tried cuttings this year,nothing.It is such a great plant,you just want more of them.After more reseach,root cuttings is the answer.Very soon,will dig up the whole plant and divide it up.Hoping to make about 5 or 6 plants out of it.
Thanks - I won't waste any more time clearning the seeds :-)
