I'm starting this thread tonight because I have to go to town early in the morning and may not be able to do it before I leave.
Have a wonderful day everyone. I think I may be able to do what I need to do in town and get back home before leaving for work in the afternoon. I hope so anyway. I think the weather will be pretty warm. Some rain may get to us this weekend. Not a big chance tho.
Drink at least 64 oz. of H2O in a 24 hour period but don't over do it and get water logged(water intoxification) which is as if not more dangerous than dehydration. Eat plenty of raw fruits and veggies, very little refined sugar and unnatural fat products, and portions of meats about 3 - 4 oz. each. Remember that a portion of most fruits and veggies is 1/2 cup, grains like rice, cereals, pasta products, etc. are 1/2 cup, 1 slice of bread is a portion, etc. Use only natural fats. Oleo margarine is a huge no-no. It is what plugs up blood vessels, raises cholesterol, etc. because the body doesn't know what to do with it. It is only one molocule away from plastic. Look for the threads Please Don't Partially Hydrogenate Me & the Crisco Story posted by Darius here on this forum somewhere a few months ago.
I've learned that if I use a smaller plate, bowl, cup, spoon, fork, etc. I will usually eat less. Measure and weigh foods until you learn to 'eyeball' portions reliably and even then you should check yourself often. Buy one of those low calorie meals, save the dish and use it until you are sure you can regulate your portions on/in other dishes. Drink a 8 - 16 oz glass of water before a meal and you will feel full sooner and the meal will digest better. You need water to digest, regulate metabolism, etc. so don't give up water at mealtime. I need to go back thru my old Woman's World & First magazines and pick out some tips on metabolism, etc. to pass on. Many of them were important keys to success for me.
GOD bless and keep each of you.
