CLOSED: Do you know this cool CAT?

This caterpillar is munching on my purple castor bean, so that may have some influence on his colors, I don't know. Do you know what it is? They are fairly short and quite wide for their length.

It's a saddleback caterpillar, a moth larva. The spines can sting you!

Thanks! I guess I was lucky, I moved one to a different leaf so I could get a better picture and he didn't sting me! Of course, I didn't pick him up, just sort of encouraged him from the leaf to my hand and then onto another leaf. They have really COOL suckers on their undersides, too! Well, too bad they don't turn into something as cool as they are, but we have to have a few ugly ducklings to appreciate the swans!
