I was reading up on them. They can even eat a small rodent! Personally I hope they take out a few more voles this year...
Who are these noisy little buggers?
darlindeb-
Claremore! I used to live in Pryor. Got my first horse, and passed thru Claremore to get my teeth braces tightened in Tulsa while my family lived there!

This is where you live when you fall in love with my corn farmer :)
Nice tight close-up pic.

we call them the 'spring peepers' and I LOVE to hear them.
Once the peepers are singing, I get the greenhouse up and running.
There will be no more hard frosts at night when the peepers sing.
sing, little froggie, SING!
Hi Deb,
Don't give up on me, just caught up with work. Will see it through.
Love the Spring Peepers! Last night our first Leopards began calling near
the house. They may have been busy further out, but it was the first time we'd
heard them so close last night this season.
I even have the Peepers and Leopards as ring tones on my cell phone, LOL.

then there are the bullfrogs...
bAR..UMf......
quite a symphony of frogs....
love it!
Heard a lot of noise this afternoon. Music to my ears. After dinner I was sitting on my rock looking at the Koi when I saw this big old guy looking up at me. I was so happy to see him.
The pond is a bit merky..but here he is. There is another by the waterfall that I am hearing, but have not found him/her yet.
