Thread-waisted Digger Wasp?

Thread-waisted anyway - it might be called a grass-carrying wasp. Another great picture, IRIS. But its wing is covering one of the areas used to ID, the petiole or waist area... maybe somebody has an idea.

I have some kind of TW wasps every year. They carry bits of mown grass through the air. It looks really strange! They'll nest in the hollow upright square tubes of the porch railing, and some years in the channels of the 'triple-track' type storm/screen windows on the front of the house. There are plenty of caterpillars for them to parasitize, too, good, bad, and indifferent. I just watch the drama, and stay out of it, mostly.

claypa, I guess I need to take more time and study these creatures as they go through there ventures of the day, It seems it would be pretty interesting judging by what you notice of them. Don't like the paratizing part, But, Part of Nature as it goes.
Is this a better picture of the petiole? ...
