This vine's blooms should be a total suprise to us all since we aren't even sure of the species. It's like christmas!

Antoinette - Are you seeing any buds on it yet? How exciting that this is a totally new MG to this forum! I can't wait to see what the flowers look like. It looks like it is going to be a large and long growing vine. Is there just one vine or more than one?

Right now I'm glad to see that it is a large healthy looking plant...sometimes the blooms turn out to be aethetically interesting and others are more of a plain jane...but the genetic diversity is still a good thing to have in the hands of ther people before the large government funded institutions grab everything up...it may turn out to have some important medical or other valueable components or usage...

Common purslane has one of the highest vitamin E levels of any plant...and Ipomoea aquatica has high levels of S-methly-methionine...downplayed by the orthodoxy but very good stuff...

I'm focusing on the Convolvulaceae Family and am glad to know that there are other people trying to preserve and document other families of plants...

I like knowing that these rare species are being multiplied and preserved by everday people...

TTY,...

Ron
