My Snowie girl Crossed Over the Bridge this morning

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 6b)

I have been weeping all day. Snowie has been very sick for several months now. We took her to a specialist, spent all kinds of money and never knew anything more than we did before. But I gave her special love for many many months. She had a lung disease and it took her little precious life this morning. We found her almost 13 years ago and she was already an adult. She was for sure It was getting to the point where I knew that we had to make the dreaded decision and the Lord took her before this. She was getting very weak but she was still eating and drinking. But it is a blessing for her and for us as well. But it doesn't make it easier on the heart. We buried her in a shoe box in the back yard under a pine tree. I have already placed 2 angel statues on her grave. One that is praying and one that is holding a little cat. I know that you great people here know what I am going through. Once I was able to get it together today, I wanted to post this thread. Big Hugs to all of the pet lovers here. People that have never loved an animal is missing so much. We have now 2 other cats - Kittie (we found her almost 15 years ago) and Rustie (he is Snowie's grandson and he is 12 now).
